HAPPY EVER AFTERS WHERE THE DOG NEVER, EVER DIES.
Romance paired with folklore and authentic history. Stories crafted by human heart and mettle. Original story-telling. Complex and relatable characters voiced with tenderness and humor.

Characters show up at the crack of dawn, before I’m fully awake, and demand I write their story.
Being a little bit unhinged is required to be an author, but I don't claim to be mad enough to be a genius. I just have this pressing need to write all the lives I never lived. I make my husband help me act out scenes in our living room. He's been drunken sailors, dogs, and besotted suitors. He's even had to be furniture. And I love writing — unless it’s writer bios. These things I hate with the fervor of a thousand BBQs on the first warm day of spring.
You all know how it goes: went to school and more school, then even more school, until I didn't. Then I worked various jobs, until I didn't. Then I was married, until I wasn't and then, I got married again. Yada, yada...
Now to the important stuff:
I love balloons, the color pink, and Pride & Prejudice. Fozzie Bear is my spirit muppet. I listen to Toy Dolls, Dvořák and Luke Combs. I feed the magpies, and I always say Good Morning to the spiders in the bathroom, but I do have a complicated relationship to garden gnomes.
Just click the books already! (My friends on X told me to write that.)
